In-N-Out's fries are just fine. Nothing special. But order them “Animal Style” from the not-so-secret secret menu and get them doused in sauce, drenched in cheese, and sprinkled with caramelized onions. Then grab a fork or get your hands dirty. The ordinary is now decadent, and it's a delicious mess.
